Our love story officially began at Beyoncé’s Coachella performance, but it all started with a chance encounter and a great conversation. It was the day before the festival, and after being introduced by our mutual best friend, Julius, we found ourselves talking by the pool for hours. We instantly connected, and Jamie knew right away that she wanted to get to know Charles better.

Months later, after Jamie had quit her job in 2018 and decided to visit her best friend Jillian in Los Angeles, she didn’t waste any time letting Charles know she was in town. What followed was a fun night at the Standard Hotel with friends, where Jamie decided it was time to make her move. That night sparked a connection that turned into six years of love, adventure, and endless laughter. Not to mention, adopting a very lovable and rambunctious Italian Water Dog that we lovingly call “Bru” (short for Brunello).

From spontaneous trips to quiet moments at home, we’ve shared so many memories and grown together in ways we never could have imagined. We’re beyond grateful for the love we’ve built—and we have to thank Beyoncé for setting the stage for it all.
